Both participants were born in Syria in 1958 and later emigrated, but their paths in life have diverged significantly in the years since. Dr. Sultan moved to the United States, escaped from Islam, and became an outspoken apostate and critic of Islam who now lives under the threat of death. Sheikh Omar moved to Britain and became an Islamic zealot. He fled Britain in 2004 to escape prosecution, and now lives in Lebanon.

Top news agencies likely influenced by sharia finance

Kansas has now joined Tennessee, Louisiana and Arizona in passing ALAC legislation through its state legislature.

Note that the vote in Kansas was not even close. The bill passed the House 120-0 and the Senate 33-3.

Nevertheless that has not stopped Reuters from publishing an unbalanced report on the bill’s passage

CAIR no longer welcome to indoctrinate Tampa students

The Tampa, Florida school board, because of public pressure, has ceased allowing speakers from CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) to come into the schools to teach students their ideas on Islam and sharia.
